FOY® Dentures—also known as The Denture Fountain of Youth®—are custom dentures designed to do more than fill the spaces left by missing teeth.
Their planning considers how the teeth, jaw position, facial muscles, lips, cheeks, and surrounding features work together. The objective is to create a denture that supports a natural-looking smile while establishing a comfortable and functional relationship between the upper and lower teeth.
Treatment remains individualized. The results, fit, materials, retention, and need for future adjustments vary from person to person.

Tooth loss changes more than the smile.
Natural teeth help establish the height and proportions of the lower face. After teeth are lost, the supporting bone and gum ridge can change. Denture teeth may also wear down over time.
When a denture no longer provides appropriate dimensions, the distance between the nose and chin may appear reduced, less tooth structure may show, and the lips or cheeks may receive less support.
FOY® planning evaluates whether restoring tooth length, bite height, lip position, and denture contours may create a more balanced appearance. It is not a facelift, and it cannot stop normal aging or eliminate every facial line.

Begin with a ConsultationConversation and denture history
Dr. Strober asks what you like and dislike about your current dentures, how they affect eating and speaking, and what you hope to change.
Oral and facial evaluation
The gums, ridge anatomy, jaw relationship, oral tissues, existing dentures, facial proportions, lip support, and smile display are evaluated.
Detailed impressions and measurements
Clinical records document the supporting tissues and help establish the available space, bite relationship, and intended denture dimensions.
Smile and tooth selection
Tooth size, shape, shade, arrangement, visible length, gum characterization, and overall smile style are selected.
Trial evaluation
A try-in may be used to evaluate appearance, speech, tooth position, facial support, bite, and the relationship between the upper and lower teeth.
Final placement and refinement
The completed dentures are checked for fit, pressure areas, appearance, speech, retention, and bite before home-care instructions are reviewed.
Follow-up care
New dentures commonly require adjustment as the mouth adapts. Future changes in the gums and bone may also require relining, rebasing, repair, or replacement.

Premium materials still need consistent care.
Daily cleaning protects the denture surfaces and the tissues beneath them. Regular examinations also allow Dr. Strober to monitor fit, tissue health, wear, and changes in the supporting ridge.
Rinse after meals
Remove loose food and debris before brushing whenever practical.
Use a soft denture brush
Clean every surface with a nonabrasive denture cleanser rather than conventional abrasive toothpaste.
Clean the mouth as well
Brush or gently clean the gums, tongue, palate, cheeks, remaining teeth, and implant attachments as directed.
Store dentures safely
Follow the provided instructions for overnight removal and storage. Many dentures should be kept moist to help prevent warping.
Do not adjust them yourself
Home filing, bending, or repair kits can damage the denture and alter the fit or bite.
Schedule continuing examinations
Contact the office if the denture becomes loose, cracked, uncomfortable, difficult to clean, or begins changing your bite.

What should you know before choosing new dentures?
An examination is required to determine which removable or implant-supported treatment is appropriate for your mouth.
01 What are FOY® Dentures?
FOY® Dentures, also called The Denture Fountain of Youth®, are custom dentures planned around the supporting tissues, bite, facial proportions, smile appearance, tooth selection, and functional relationship between the upper and lower jaws.
02 How are FOY® Dentures different from standard dentures?
The FOY® approach places additional emphasis on detailed bite records, facial support, individualized tooth design, premium materials, and characterization of the denture teeth and base. Results and treatment needs vary.
03 Can FOY® Dentures make me look younger?
Restoring appropriate tooth length, bite height, lip support, and denture contours may soften a compressed or sunken appearance in some patients. FOY® Dentures are not a facelift and cannot stop aging or guarantee a specific cosmetic change.
04 Are FOY® Dentures more comfortable?
They are designed using detailed records intended to improve fit, pressure distribution, bite relationships, and function. Any new denture may still require an adaptation period and follow-up adjustments.
05 Can FOY® Dentures be supported by dental implants?
Yes. Depending on oral health, anatomy, available bone, and the treatment design, dental implants may be used to provide additional retention for a removable denture.
06 Do FOY® Dentures stop jawbone loss?
Removable dentures do not stop the natural bone changes that occur after tooth loss. Dental implants may help maintain bone around implant sites, but no treatment can guarantee that bone levels will never change.
07 Can FOY® be made as a partial denture?
A customized partial denture may be possible when healthy natural teeth remain. The design depends on the position and condition of those teeth, the supporting tissues, the bite, and the missing tooth spaces.
08 Will I need denture adhesive?
Some patients do not need adhesive, while others may benefit from an appropriately selected product. Adhesive should not be used to compensate indefinitely for a damaged or poorly fitting denture.
09 How long does it take to receive FOY® Dentures?
Timing depends on whether teeth require extraction, the condition of the gums and bone, the number of appointments, laboratory fabrication, trial evaluations, and whether implant treatment is included.
10 Will new dentures require adjustments?
Yes, adjustments are common while the mouth adapts. Additional adjustments, relining, repair, or replacement may be needed as the gums, bone, denture teeth, and bite change over time.
11 How should FOY® Dentures be cleaned?
Rinse them after meals when possible, brush all surfaces daily with a soft denture brush and nonabrasive cleanser, clean the mouth and remaining teeth, and follow the provided overnight storage instructions.
12 What should I do if my dentures become loose or painful?
Contact Country Club Dentistry for an evaluation. Do not file, bend, reline, or repair dentures at home because this can damage the appliance and worsen the fit.
